Although I love the view with water, I have never lived by the river nor sea. I used to live near them once or twice but never side by side. If I did, I would probably walk more and take more photos. When I lived in Kamakura, I lived about ten minutes away from the sea but did not own a camera.

For the past few months, I have been to some places where I can photograph views with water. I sometimes wonder why I am attracted to them. One reason is that water is a part of me, a large part of me, and my body resonates with it. When I look at them, I can feel that my self is not limited to my body, I'm connected to the earth and the universe, I am a part of their dynamism.
