We are holding another GR SNAPS event for the first time in a while! This time, we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the RICOH GR series.
In keeping with the spirit of this commemorative event, the theme is “My Favorite Shot.”
Please join us by submitting your favorite photo taken with a GR. Any model in the GR series is welcome!
This will also be a joint initiative between the Instagram account “GR official / @ricoh_gr_official,” which is managed in Japan, and the Instagram account “GR photography / @ricoh_gr_photography,” managed by Ricoh Imaging Europe.
The selected works will not only be announced on the GR official blog, but also be exhibited at the GR 30th anniversary event, which is scheduled to take place in Tokyo this October (details to be announced at a later date).
We are also planning an exhibition in Europe, though the details have not yet been finalized.
Therefore, you must have the original data for the works you submit.
Please note that, although this event is organized jointly by Japan and Europe, the selection procedure, number of selected works, and exhibition details will vary by region.
Also, please be aware that the participation process is a bit complicated this time.
To enter, you must follow our Instagram account and post a photo on Instagram, as well as submit your entry via our form.

“My Favorite Shot”
Eligibility:
Unpublished works photographed with a GR series camera (including film GR models) in or after October 1996.
Please refer to the “Entry notes” for the definition of “unpublished.”
How to Enter:
1. Follow both official GR Instagram accounts listed below from your Instagram account.
@ricoh_gr_official, @ricoh_gr_photography
2. Post a photo from your own Instagram account using the following two hashtags:
#gr30th #grsnaps30th
*Entries must be new posts made during the entry period. Previously posted images with new hashtags added will not be eligible for consideration.
*Please note that submissions from private accounts are not eligible.
3. Using the form below, please submit your account name and the data of the work you posted.
*Please submit your application using the form in either language. Applications submitted via multiple forms will be disqualified.

Only one image may be submitted per entry. Multiple photo posts (carousels) are not eligible for submission.
Each person may submit up to three entries (three images total).
*If you submit more than three entries, only the first three will be considered.

Announcement of Selected Works:
After deliberation, we will select the works and announce them on the GR official site. The selected works will be exhibited at the GR 30th Anniversary Event in October.
Selected entrants will be contacted via Instagram Direct Messages.
※Please note that announcements of the exhibition and selected works in Europe will be made separately via the official RICOH IMAGING Europe accounts.
