The 76th GRist is Orietta Gelardin Spinola! She was a judge for GR PHOTOFESTIVAL 2023 and took the official photographs for GR IV HDF.

Regarding GR IV HDF, there’s also an interview video with Samuel Lintaro Hopf, so be sure to check it out.

I began using my very first GR III in 2019, when I became a Ricoh GR brand ambassador in Spain since 2019.
I was thrilled by the proposal because, although I was very happy with the camera I was using at the time, I had heard nothing but wonders about the Ricoh GR’s. From that moment, it was love at first sight, and I have been shooting with a GR ever since. I now own a GR III Diary Edition, a GR IIIX, a GR IV, and more recently I have had the privilege to test a prototype of the GR IV HDF, which I have found truly amazing.

I am someone who always goes out with a camera hanging around my neck, and when I say always, I really mean it. Whether it’s just going around the corner to buy bread or going out with friends at night, my camera is always with me. I must admit I’m quite obsessed with taking photos wherever I am. I love wandering around, getting lost, observing people, and capturing small details of everyday life in cities, the countryside or at home. Over time, I’ve realized that I unconsciously use this obsession as a counterpoint to overcome many of my insecurities. In this sense, the GR series, so light and non-invasive, has made everything much easier.

Also, when taking photos (and in life) I rely very much on my intuition, and this is another area where the GR is perfect for me. I have rarely come across a camera that is as fast, simple, and intuitive as the GR. Even though I use it in manual mode (except for the focus), I hardly ever need to do much thinking regarding the settings when I see a scene or whatever captures my attention, because it all flows very easily.

And last but not least, although the GR series is often associated with street photography, I now use it for landscape, portraits, and commissioned work in museums and hotels, always with incredibly high-quality results.
