We announced the development of the RICOH GR IV HDF during the GR IV launch announcement on May 22nd, and we are pleased to formally announce it again today. Furthermore, we are also pleased to announce that the dedicated monochrome model, the RICOH GR IV Monochrome, is currently in development. For many years, we have received requests from various sources for a dedicated monochrome camera.

Since the product is still at the development stage, the information we can provide is limited at this time. However, we have published as many specifications as possible.
We will do our best to deliver the new model to as many customers as possible as soon as possible, so please bear with us a little longer.


In 2026, we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the GR series, and 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the GR’s digital debut in 2005 with the GR DIGITAL.

These are important chapters for those of you who have continued to support the ultimate snapshooter throughout this journey.
Let’s continue to celebrate the joy of photography together.
