The GR PHOTO FESTIVAL is GR's own photography contest that we launched in 2022 to encourage people around the world who enjoy taking pictures with the GR series to enjoy them even more. We chose this form of contest not to compete for the best work or rankings, but to share the joy of photography.
The theme remains the same as in the past: "Daily Life".
We hope that the GR PHOTO FESTIVAL will serve as an opportunity for you to document your precious, casual moments.
This year again, 10 photographers from around the world will select 3 works each from their own perspective.
From Japan, we have Alao Yokogi and Ai Iwane.
In Japan, we will again have an exhibition of the selected works (scheduled for March), this time at "GR SPACE TOKYO".
We are excited to see your "Daily Life" works and what kind of works the 10 members of the jury will select!
Here is a look at the previous exhibition of selected works held at GR SPACE TOKYO.
The work is framed and displayed, and after the exhibition concludes, it is mailed back to the artist along with a certificate of appreciation.
The GR PHOTO FESTIVAL website is available in 8 languages, including Japanese and English.
